Your responsibilities will be

‍

• Lead and manage OS team (2 people)
• Management and organization of team tasks for sprints
• Prioritization of new feature development
• Ensure the stability and security of the operating system
• Propose the continuous evolution of all the devops tools required for the OS build
• Validate proper support for the operating system across various devices and architectures
• Oversee the development of OTA (Over-The-Air) updates for the operating system and ensure their correct application on all supported devices
• Maintain alignment across different versions of the operating system variants

What we need from you

• Experience in building Linux operating systems from scratch
• Knowledge of integrating new packages into an operating system by building them from source, considering necessary dependencies
• Familiarity with cross-compilation systems
• Experience in configuring the Linux kernel to enable new features or drivers
• Experience integrating new kernel drivers
• Proficiency in shell scripting
• Knowledge of systemd-based systems
• Ability to automate tasks within continuous integration systems (Jenkins, github pipelines)

And you will shine if you have…

• Experience with Yocto Project
• Extensive experience with Docker technologies
• Experience using Buildroot
• Knowledge of test automation to validate the correct functionality of operating systems
• Knowledge of network configuration in Linux systems (Ethernet, wireless, mobile, VPN, VLAN, etc.)
• Familiarity with Kubernetes environments
• Experience with Docker technologies
• Virtualization environments knowledge KVM, VmWare etc…
