Our Story
This is the story of two engineers, David Purón and Isidro Nistal.
We have spent years working in cybersecurity, telecommunications and industrial connectivity. We worked with factories, energy companies and critical infrastructure operators, helping them connect systems that had never been designed for today’s digital world.
Over time, we noticed the same pattern everywhere.
Innovation in IT was moving incredibly fast. Every year brought new technologies, better software and new ways to use data and AI. But in the industrial world, adopting those innovations was still painfully difficult. Not because people didn’t want them, but because the technology was too complex, too fragmented, and required expertise that most industrial teams shouldn’t need to have.
We believed it didn’t have to be that way.
The people who keep our factories running, our energy flowing and our critical infrastructure operating shouldn’t have to become IT specialists just to benefit from modern technology. They should be able to focus on their operations while using the best digital tools available.
So we built Barbara.
Our goal has never been to create technology for technology’s sake. We built Barbara to make advanced industrial software and AI simple to deploy, secure to operate, and accessible to the people who create real value every day.
Today, Barbara helps industrial organizations adopt innovation with confidence, so they can spend less time dealing with technology and more time improving the way the world works.
