From September 22 to 24, 2026, Barbara will be exhibiting at the Ignition Community Conference (ICC) in Sacramento, California, the premier event for the global Ignition and industrial automation community that brings together more than 1,500 automation professionals, system integrators, manufacturers, and technology providers. During the event, Barbara will showcase at Booth 30 how Ignition can be deployed, managed, and updated across hundreds of distributed edge devices from Barbara's platform while ensuring high availability and operational resilience.

From September 28 to October 2, 2026, Barbara will be present at the Feria Internacional Industrial de Bogotá (FIB) in Bogotá, Colombia, the largest industrial trade fair in the Andean region. Held at Corferias, this edition brings together more than 500 exhibitors from 16 countries across manufacturing, energy, metal-mechanical, logistics and infrastructure.

Barbara will be represented at the fair by Summan, our system integrator partner in Colombia, at Hall 3, Stand 349. Summan will run live demonstrations of digital twin projects in critical industries, running on Barbara across distributed edge nodes. From September 29 to October 1, 2026, Barbara will attend the UAO Global Summit 2026 in Milan, Italy, the annual gathering organized by UniversalAutomation.org around the theme “Open Software-Defined Automation: From Academia and Research to Real-World Deployment with IEC 61499”. The summit brings together industrial leaders, system integrators, and academics to explore how Open Software-Defined Automation and the IEC 61499 standard are decoupling industrial software from hardware, and includes a private visit to GR3N's industrial-scale recycling plant near Lake Como.

On September 30, 2026, Barbara will take part in the Edge Observatory Online Workshop, “Edge AI: Unlocking the potential of distributed intelligence in the EU”, organized by the European Commission (DG CNECT) from 10:00 to 12:00 CET. The interactive workshop will explore the evolving EU edge AI landscape, drawing on exclusive insights from the Edge Observatory study on developments and trends across Member States. Participants will have the opportunity to share their perspectives and discuss the opportunities, challenges, and conditions needed to build a secure, sustainable, and trusted edge AI infrastructure in the EU.

Juan Pérez-Bedmar, VP Marketing at Barbara, will deliver the presentation “Insights from the edge AI ecosystem” at 11:40 CET, sharing what Barbara sees in the field as industrial operators deploy, run and secure industrial applications and AI models across distributed edge infrastructure. On October 7, 2026, Barbara will be attending IoT Sparks 2026 in Valencia, Spain, the conference and exhibition dedicated to the practical adoption of IoT technology. Now in its third edition and hosted at the Palau de les Arts, IoT Sparks connects telcos, hardware manufacturers and solution developers with the innovation, IT and operations leaders deploying connected solutions across industry and energy, smart city and utilities, mobility and logistics, and sustainability.

On November 10–12, 2026, Barbara will be attending Enlit Europe in Vienna, Austria, the leading summit for energy transition and decarbonization. Bringing together more than 15,000 energy professionals, 750 exhibitors, and 600 speakers, Enlit Europe serves as a key meeting point for utilities, technology providers, grid operators, and industry leaders driving the future of smart grids, digitalization, and sustainable energy systems.

From November 24 to 26, 2026, Barbara will be at SPS – Smart Production Solutions in Nuremberg, Germany, one of Europe's leading trade fairs for smart and digital automation. The fair brings together more than 1,000 exhibitors and an international audience of automation professionals, system integrators, manufacturers and technology providers shaping the future of industrial automation.

Representing Barbara at the fair will be Javier Rodríguez, VP Sales. Barbara is also part of UniversalAutomation.org (UAO), the independent association advancing Open Software-Defined Automation and the IEC 61499 standard, and the UAO community will be present at the Schneider Electric booth. From April 20 to 24, 2026, Barbara participated in Hannover Messe in Hannover, Germany, one of the world's leading industrial technology trade fairs, bringing together manufacturers, technology providers, and industrial innovators to explore the future of industry. During the event, Barbara showcased live demonstrations of Open Software-Defined Automation at Schneider Electric’s booth (Hall 13, Booth C34), highlighting how Barbara and Schneider Electric are enabling the convergence of IT and OT by allowing control and compute to run on the same infrastructure while introducing modern software practices into industrial environments without compromising reliability or performance.

Visitors had the opportunity to explore real-time industrial use cases and discuss how Software-Defined Automation, Edge Computing, and IT/OT convergence are transforming industrial operations.

On April 16, 2026, Barbara participated in the 35th GEODE Spring Seminar in Granada, Spain, a leading energy industry seminar bringing together utility executives, energy operators, and industry experts to discuss the key challenges and opportunities shaping the future of Europe’s energy sector.

The seminar provided an opportunity to exchange insights on grid modernization, digitalization, cybersecurity, and operational resilience, while connecting with key stakeholders across the European energy ecosystem.

From April 15 to 16, 2026, Barbara participated in the Energy Tech Summit in Bilbao, Spain, one of Europe's leading events focused on the energy transition, innovation, and emerging technologies. During the event, Barbara contributed to discussions on how Edge AI and Edge Computing are enabling energy and industrial organizations to improve efficiency, resilience, and sustainability while accelerating their digital transformation initiatives.

From March 30 to April 2, 2026, Barbara participated in Global Industrie in Paris, France, one of Europe’s leading industrial innovation events, bringing together manufacturers, technology providers, and industry leaders to explore the future of industrial transformation. During the event, Barbara showcased how secure-by-design Edge Computing and Software-Defined Automation solutions help manufacturers accelerate digital transformation while maintaining operational resilience, security, and efficiency.

Representing Barbara at the event was Javier Rodríguez, who engaged with attendees at Schneider Electric’s booth (5P156) to discuss industrial Edge AI, OT/IT convergence, and the future of industrial operations. The event provided an excellent opportunity to connect with manufacturers and technology partners and demonstrate how edge technologies are enabling smarter and more agile industrial environments.

On March 25, 2026, Barbara participated in the Smart Grids Academy Masterclass at BAT B Accelerator Tower in Bilbao, Spain, a specialized training event focused on smart grid technologies and attended by energy professionals, industry experts, and innovation stakeholders. During the session, Barbara delivered a presentation exploring how smart grids operate in real-world environments, highlighting practical use cases, operational challenges, and the technologies driving the digital transformation of the energy sector.
