At InnoVerse 2025 in Hyderabad, Barbara joined Tech Mahindra and global industry leaders to spotlight the rise of Edge AI as a megatrend in industrial transformation. As enterprises race to operationalize AI at scale, Barbara is helping lead the charge, building a collaborative Edge AI ecosystem that will accelerate the adoption of AI in Industry.
Last week, Barbara had the privilege of joining Tech Mahindra’s InnoVerse 2025 in Hyderabad , an inspiring gathering of delivery leaders, technology partners, and innovation-driven enterprises. We were proud to be invited as a key technology partner and to contribute to a powerful panel on how Edge AI is transforming industrial operations worldwide.
Edge AI is not just a buzzword. It’s what’s next in digital transformation. According to Gartner, by 2025, 50% of enterprises will deploy AI at the edge. And with good reason.
• Industrial data is exploding — and must be processed close to where it’s generated.
• Latency and downtime are costly — centralized AI simply can’t respond fast enough.
• Edge infrastructure is now mature — platforms like Barbara make it scalable, secure, and operationally feasible.
At Barbara, we believe Edge AI is the biggest technological shift since the cloud. And just like the cloud did over a decade ago, Edge AI is about to redefine the way value is created, in the industrial space.
Barbara is more than a platform. We are building the Edge AI ecosystem — together with Tech Mahindra, hardware manufacturers, software vendors, consultants, and system integrators — to help industrial companies seamlessly scale AI across distributed environments.
This ecosystem-first mindset is essential. No single player can deliver on the full promise of Edge AI alone. The complexity of distributed architectures, the diversity of edge hardware, and the specificity of AI use cases demand collaboration by design.
And as we’ve seen time and again:
Ecosystems are what make scale possible — not just in terms of technology, but also in delivery, agility, and long-term value.
At InnoVerse, this theme stood out clearly. The companies that are winning are those that don’t try to go it alone. They partner strategically, build trust across the value chain, and create cohesive offerings that are greater than the sum of their parts.
During the panel moderated by Tech Mahindra at InnoVerse 2025, Barbara’s VP of Partner Success, Juan Pérez-Bedmar, joined Himanshu Jadhav (Jendamark) and Manikanthan NS (Tech Mahindra) to discuss the evolving demands of delivering AI at scale in complex, multi-country industrial programs.
The conversation highlighted how Edge AI is now seen as a key unlock for industrial transformation — not simply because of its technical promise, but because it directly addresses the barriers that have historically held back AI adoption. Issues such as cost, latency, and cybersecurity often stall promising AI pilots before they ever reach production. Edge AI, however, offers a scalable solution that brings intelligence closer to the source of data, enabling real-time decision-making and operational continuity.
From Barbara’s perspective, preparing delivery leaders for this shift means going beyond the technology. It’s about providing market intelligence and demonstrating real-world applicability. Industrial customers care less about the tech itself and more about what they can achieve with it. That’s why Barbara places strong emphasis on co-creating use cases with partners and integrators — not just selling a platform, but delivering outcomes.
Ensuring delivery excellence, particularly in partner-led models, was another critical theme. Barbara underscored the vital role of System Integrators, who bring the structure, accountability, and client understanding that complex industrial environments demand. But successful delivery also hinges on the strength of the underlying technology stack — it must be solid, modular, and extensible. Long-term viability and scale require a cohesive ecosystem of hardware, software, and orchestration working together.
One of the tactical practices Barbara uses to maintain alignment across strategic accounts is the creation of dedicated task forces that bring together product, commercial, and delivery leaders. This structure ensures agility and consistency across all stages of customer engagement — from first contact to operational rollout.
And when asked for one piece of advice for delivery leaders managing large, high-stakes programs, the takeaway was clear:
Success in Edge AI requires exploring the ecosystem — and trusting your partners to help you navigate it. In a space this complex, collaboration is not optional — it’s the only way to scale with speed and confidence. - Juan Pérez Bedmar - VP of Partner Success at Barbara.
“The real unlock for Edge AI lies in co-creating value — not just delivering tech, but solving real problems together with partners and customers.”
InnoVerse 2025 confirmed what we already knew: Edge AI is no longer a future possibility — it’s a present-day imperative. And delivery leaders, now more than ever, need trusted partners who can help them deploy and scale it at speed.
And if there’s one takeaway that stood above all:
Ecosystems are the new strategy. They are the key to unlocking agility, scalability, and innovation at the edge. At Barbara, we are proud to be helping build this ecosystem m not just as a participant, but as an orchestrator. Let’s keep building the future. Together.
